Your adaptability score

Your three highest-ROI moves, this quarter
HAPI Lite is a directional self-report instrument. It is not a hiring screen, a clinical tool, or a substitute for individualized advice. The full benchmark is published with the Work Congress 2026 report.
What HAPI actually measures
HAPI — the Human Adaptability and Potential Index — is a worker-level composite score that measures how a person navigates change in their working life. It is intentionally individual: HAPI is a score for a person, not a country or a company. The construct has five dimensions:
Skill mobility
Does your skill set transfer across roles, or is it bound to your specific employer's stack?
Learning velocity
How quickly are you acquiring, validating, and applying new skills right now?
Network capital
Do you have people you could call who would vouch for, hire, or teach you?
Economic resilience
Could you absorb a transition without falling out of the labor force?
Agency & voice
Do you have meaningful authority over how your work is designed, evaluated, and rewarded?
The full HAPI Index 2026 — methods note, benchmark data, predictive validity results — is published in the HAPI Index 2026 flagship piece. A more detailed academic working paper is in preparation.
