At No Worker Left Behind, we believe that economic mobility starts with visibility, voice, and connection. That’s why we launched LEAAP.org—a bold initiative designed to close the opportunity gap for Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) professionals in Massachusetts and beyond.
Why LEAAP?
Too often, AAPI professionals are underrepresented in leadership, overlooked in hiring pipelines, and underserved in professional development spaces. Despite being highly skilled and deeply committed, many face invisible barriers to advancement—including cultural bias, lack of access to networks, and limited visibility in mainstream workforce programs.
LEAAP (Leading and Empowering Asian American Professionals) was created to challenge that reality. We’re building an ecosystem where AAPI professionals can connect, grow, and lead—not in isolation, but in community.
What We Do
LEAAP is more than a program—it’s a movement.
We host events and build infrastructure to support the career growth and leadership development of AAPI professionals through:
- Networking Events that foster authentic relationships across sectors
- Industry Workshops to navigate fields like tech, finance, health, and public service
- Mentorship & Peer Circles for real talk, shared strategies, and guided growth
- Resume Clinics & Career Coaching tailored to immigrant, multilingual, and first-gen professionals
- Leadership Summits & Job Fairs connecting talent with opportunity
Who We Serve
LEAAP centers the diverse lived experiences within the AAPI community—from recent immigrants to second-generation professionals, from South Asian to Southeast Asian to East Asian backgrounds. We focus especially on low- and mid-wage professionals, who are often left out of traditional DEI initiatives but hold enormous potential to lead our future.
